"Charlie Campbell’s books and materials are incredible—beautifully illustrated, thoroughly researched, and very well written. He is an apologist extraordinaire! Don’t miss his stuff—it will stretch your mind, stir your soul, and bless your heart."

Distinguished Professor or Religion at Liberty University and Gold Medallion award-winning author of 40 books
Is the Bible a book of mythology? Are the persons, places and events in the Bible fabrications by deceitful men? Many critics of Christianity say yes but archaeological discoveries say no. For the past 150 years archaeologists have been verifying the exact truthfulness of the Bible’s detailed records of various events, customs, persons, cities, nations, and geographical locations.
In this book Charlie Campbell discusses dozens of fascinating discoveries—both old and new—that have overturned critics’ theories of the Bible and helped to confirm the historical reliability of the Scriptures. If you have questions or doubts about the reliability of the Bible, this book will be a great help to you. Click on the images above to see sample pages. A less expensive edition of this book is available in black and white ($10.95) and Spanish (full color).
Charlie also has a DVD out on this topic!

It is a great book to strengthen the believer and engage the curious as to the historicity of the Bible. The author strays from sensationalism and instead opts to provide solid, scholarly archaeological evidences. The photos were fantastic and the book was very engaging!

From what I have seen and read about archaeological evidence for the bible, this is definitely one of the best resources. Charlie Campbell has made an attractive book that is accessible in format and reading level to almost anybody. He wisely has chosen only the evidence which has been well established. Recommended for everyone who is interested in reading about the historical reliability of the scriptures. Great resource for homeschoolers.

If you are new to apologetics or need to add some resources to your personal library, this is one of the books you won't regret buying. My husband and I have just began our journey through Christian apologetics after realizing how many people we are surrounded by on a daily basis that can't actually state a reason for their beliefs. We are also in a community populated by the Mormon church, and next time they knock on our door, we will be sure to lovingly invite them inside for some serious discussion. Sometimes just having a "printout" of an online article or photo isn't nearly as useful as being able to show full color photos from an actual book. Since we can't physically take anyone to the actual sites to see the evidence firsthand, this book will be incredibly useful to back up our case for the abundance of archaeological evidence in support of the (one true) Bible. The explanations are basic enough that anyone can understand them, but they by no means "dumb it down" to the point of this being just a silly resource. I have devoured this book from cover to cover, and I know it will be something I frequently reference for decades. He also puts the references directed back to the original resource at the bottom of each page which makes it easy to cross reference the materials. This book is worth purchasing for sure! *clap clap clap* Nice work, Charlie!

This is the one I have been looking for. It provides archaeological discoveries that relate to various Biblical accounts of events, places and people. It first presents the Scripture and then lists some archaeological discovery that relates to that particular Scripture. It is arranged to follow the organization of the Bible. Hence, it is very easy to find collaborative archaeological data for the Scripture of interest. I highly recommend this book for those who are interested in secular data that supports the authenticity of the Holy Bible.

Great book! 5 star rating for being insightful and just plain fascinating. I really liked how Charlie was technical enough to pique my interest but not so technical that I would get lost in archaeological jargon. I think I am ready now for a "deeper dive" by Charlie! I would recommend this book to fellow Christians who want to learn about the fascinating world of biblical archaeology and also to those searching for God and the truth.

A great book. Charlie did a fantastic job in compiling compelling evidence for the trustworthiness of Scripture all into one powerful, rather beautiful book!

I'm a bit more than halfway through the book now and I've got to say, it's truly amazing! It's the first book of its kind I've owned, (specifically regarding biblical history/archaeology), and I don't think I could've made a better first choice. I'd recommend this for anyone just starting out in archaeological research from a biblical perspective, and as Charlie mentions on page 14, I'd say it's absolutely perfect for those "who do not have the time to read the 200-500 page books on the topic."

Have this book as apart of your arsenal! There's a war for our minds, and we need to know the facts! Campbell has a gift for condensing very large topics into succinct yet powerful works that can be digested by the everyday reader. I have referenced information from this book to atheists and other non-believers many times. I wouldn't have had the ability to know about these discoveries, their context, the debate around them, significance, biblical references...without this book. And, as a result of learning about the topic of archaeology, I decided to go on a dig! I went with Dr. Price of Liberty University, who is one of the archaeologists Campbell suggests in the book, to Qumran Israel. Life changing! Campbell does the heavy lifting, all you have to do is get the book and learn about a very important aspect of Christian apologetics with ease.
